Through this website, we hope to share information and seasonal updates with those who look forward to our soba, and to build a friendly and welcoming connection with our guests.

We deeply appreciate and look forward to your continued support and patronage.

Owner’s Profile

Fourth-generation owner,
Shigeyuki Akatsuka

Born in Tsukiji, 1973 (Showa 48)
Tsukiji Elementary School → Shiba Junior & Senior High School → Graduated from Ritsumeikan University
After one year of training at “Toranomon Sunaba,” he learned the fundamentals of handmade soba at “Nunotsune Sarashina.”
Under the sincere approach to business of Mr. Ryuichi Inagaki at “Toranomon Sunaba” and the outstanding soba-making techniques of Mr. Setsu Ijima at “Nunotsune Sarashina,” he gained invaluable experience before taking over the family business.

We strive to provide delicious soba that brings joy to our customers, dishes that make each meal a pleasant experience, and carefully selected sake filled with the spirit of its maker, so that everyone may spend a comfortable and enjoyable time at our restaurant.
